Written proposals for the purchase of the Property will be received by the City Clerk at or before 4:00 p.m. on Monday, February 9, 2026 in the City Clerk’s Office. Written proposal must be in conformance with the Request for Bids, a copy of which can be located on the City’s website or at City Hall. Each proposal will then be opened and all proposals will be presented to the City Council at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, February 9,2026, at a meeting to be held in the Council Chambers, City Hall, Bancroft, Iowa.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED, that a Public Hearing will be held in the City Council Chambers, City Council Chambers, , 105 E. Ramsey Street, Bancroft, Iowa at the City Council Meeting scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m. on the 9th day of February. 2026 at which time the Council will hear comments for and against the proposal from any interested party. You have a right to attend and express your views on this proposal. If you are unable to attend, you may submit your written comments addressed to the City Clerk, City Council Chambers, 105 E Ramsey St, Bancroft, Iowa. Your written comments must be received no later than 4:00 p.m. on the 9th day of February, 2026. At the conclusion of the Public Hearing, the Council will consider vacating the above-described property.
