The difficult decision has been made to not open the swimming pool for the current season. We understand this is disappointing news, and we apologize for any inconvenience it may cause.

There are several factors that contributed to this decision.  Primarily, the pool is still waiting on critical parts that were ordered months ago but remain on backorder. Additionally, we are required to have a state inspection after work is completed, and the remaining time in the season is limited.

We want to express our sincere gratitude to Norma Foster and Beth Pederson for their efforts in organizing and staffing the lifeguard positions. We also extend our appreciation to the young people who took the initiative to become certified lifeguards and hope we see them come back next year.

As we continue with work at the pool, we will keep you updated on any future developments.
